Surf course description
Learning to surf includes two main themes: the technique of the activity as well as the knowledge of the environment.
We offer an educational development allowing as many people as possible to discover the joys of surfing on the waves.
When equipped with a wetsuit and a surfboard.
We start by choosing a place of practice adapted to the level of the students.
The goal is to teach you how to choose your surf spot. Learn to judge the size and shape of the waves to know if the surf spot is suitable for your level.
We must also learn to spot the different currents and the evolution that the tide could give on the surfing area in order to be able to surf safely. A little warm-up will be done at the start of surf lessons. We will start with a bodysurf session accompanied by a stretching session.
We will always alternate between explanations on the sand that we will apply in the water.
The first sensations of surfing will be on small waves near the shore.
Surf lessons are 2 hours..
During small breaks, we improve our knowledge of the environment through various interventions by surf instructors: birth of the waves offshore, swell arriving at the coast, baïnes and other dangerous parts of the beach.
In the technical part we will also explain the different types and forms of boards, the maneuvers of surfing as well as the history of this ancestral art.
Do not hesitate to ask us questions…
Ready to surf ? Let’s go !
As you can see the ocean is an extraordinary playground, we will teach you to understand these natural phenomena such as tides, waves, winds, currents so that we can fully enjoy them in complete safety.
